Whether you're a seasoned angler or just learning to bait and cast, you'll find fun-filled fishing opportunities during your stay at the Bar M Ranch!  The 3 mile / 5 kilometer stretch of the Umatilla River flowing through the ranch provides ample opportunities for catch and release native trout fishing, with artificial flies and lures only, generally best in June and July.  In the fall you can watch the salmon return and build their reds as they complete their life cycle.  We have a large private pond stocked with trout for the kids to enjoy.  Successful pond anglers can take their catch to the cooks and they will gladly grill it on the Bar B Q.
